Getting there

Direct flights are available from Bahrain (BAH) to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) on Gulf Air; the route has been reported as operating five times weekly, with an approximate nonstop time of about 4h 30m. If the direct option is unavailable for your dates, common one-stop alternatives appear on carriers such as Qatar Airways, Emirates, Etihad, Kenya Airways, and Air Arabia via hubs including Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

Visa

Bahraini passport holders must obtain a Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before travel: $30 fee (plus processing), valid for a single-entry stay of up to 90 days, and typically approved within 3 business days via the official eTA portal.

Safety

Central business districts and major training venues are generally busy and secure, but delegates should use registered taxis or app-based rides at night, keep valuables discreet, and follow local advice on areas to avoid after dark.
