ISO 55001 Lead Implementer Overview
Organizations worldwide demand professionals who can not only understand but actively implement and manage an Asset Management System (AMS) based on the ISO 55001 standard. This requires a unique blend of strategic insight, operational acumen, and a deep grasp of the standard's requirements, including critical clauses like Context of the Organization (Clause 4) and Leadership (Clause 5). You need to develop capabilities to: define AMS scope, establish asset management objectives, identify and treat asset risks, manage the asset lifecycle, ensure resource competence, and drive continual improvement.
This ISO 55001 Lead Implementer training moves beyond theoretical knowledge, equipping you with the practical skills to build a compliant and effective AMS. You will learn to apply the PECB IMS2 Methodology for implementation planning, develop asset management plans that integrate risk-based decision-making, and establish key performance indicators for asset performance. The course emphasizes hands-on application, introducing you to tools for asset data analysis and digital asset management, enabling you to construct an implementation roadmap, conduct internal audits, and prepare for certification. You will acquire the capabilities to interpret ISO 55001 requirements from an implementer's perspective, initiate and plan an AMS, deploy controls across the asset lifecycle, and evaluate performance to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
