Market-specific guidance for Italy

A country-aware view of the pressures, proof points, and practical tools that shape how this course applies locally.

Why this course matters in Italy

Strategic context for the risks, opportunities, and capability gaps this training addresses locally.

Microsoft Power Apps matters in Italy because organisations are under pressure to replace manual workflows with faster, more governable digital processes while keeping business data connected across Microsoft and on-premises systems. The course is especially relevant for operations, business analysis, IT architecture, and citizen-development teams that need to build secure internal apps without waiting for long traditional development cycles. For Italian leaders, the practical decision is not whether to digitise, but which processes can be standardised, automated, and measured first so that app delivery translates into lower operational friction and better control over data.

Manual processes are the main bottleneck

Power Apps is designed to transform manual operations into digital, automated processes, which makes it directly relevant for Italian teams still relying on spreadsheets, email approvals, and paper-based handoffs.

Business and IT can share delivery responsibility

Because Power Apps supports low-code app creation for business users and extensibility for professional developers, it fits Italian organisations that want faster delivery without removing IT governance.

Dataverse strengthens governance

The platform’s Microsoft Dataverse layer gives teams a structured data foundation for apps, which matters where Italian organisations need clearer control over business data and reusable application logic.

The training is timely in Italy because organisations are still under pressure to speed up application delivery while maintaining secure data handling and workflow control. It is particularly relevant where teams need to reduce operational bottlenecks without expanding traditional development backlogs.

Getting there

Direct nonstop service from Rome (Fiumicino–Leonardo da Vinci, FCO) to Accra (Kotoka International, ACC) is operated by ITA Airways on several days each week, with an approximate nonstop time of about 5 hours 50 minutes. If the itinerary starts outside Rome, KLM and TAP also show Italy-to-Accra options, typically connecting via Amsterdam or Lisbon, respectively.

Visa

Italy passport holders need a visa to enter Ghana; the Ghana Embassy in Rome says only nationals of exempted countries are visa-free, and everyone else requires a visa. For a 5-day professional training course, the relevant entry route is a pre-travel visa application, with visa-on-arrival only available in emergency cases after prior approval by the Ghana Immigration Service, and not as the standard option.

Safety

Accra is generally considered one of the safer capital cities in West Africa; however, delegates should exercise normal urban precautions — avoid displaying valuables, use reputable transport, and stay aware of surroundings in crowded markets.
