About the Course
Organizations want product decisions they can prove, not just product opinions. In advanced product strategy and roadmapping work, you need to demonstrate customer insight synthesis, value-based prioritization, strategic sequencing, roadmap governance, and stakeholder alignment. Frameworks such as Jobs-to-be-Done, Kano Model, MoSCoW, and OKRs give you a shared language for choosing what to build, what to defer, and what to communicate to leadership.
This course turns scattered product knowledge into a structured system for shaping strategy and roadmaps. You will practice market and competitor analysis, opportunity scoring, roadmap architecture, dependency mapping, KPI alignment, and release sequencing using product artefacts you can take back to work. What you will learn: how to build a product strategy statement, prioritization model, and roadmap that support business goals and delivery reality. You will practice constructing these outputs in class and will be introduced to advanced portfolio-level alignment concepts at an overview level, so you can scope the next step without overcommitting the team.
This training also reflects the real constraints you manage every day, including limited engineering capacity, shifting stakeholder priorities, incomplete customer evidence, and pressure to justify trade-offs quickly. It is designed for professionals who must produce credible roadmaps under time and resource pressure while keeping product direction clear across leadership, delivery, and commercial teams. This course teaches advanced product strategy and roadmapping through applied planning so you can make decisions that are strategic, traceable, and realistic.

Requirements & Prerequisites
Recommended for professionals with working knowledge of product management, delivery planning, or product ownership. You should already understand basic product lifecycle concepts, cross-functional collaboration, and how backlog items move through a development workflow. No coding is required, but you will benefit from experience reviewing customer feedback, feature requests, product metrics, or sprint plans. Participants should bring a laptop for roadmap exercises and, where possible, a current product brief, backlog sample, or planning artefact from their own work.
