Training venue

Kampala offers a range of international-standard hotels and conference venues in areas such as Nakasero, Kololo, and Munyonyo, with properties typically providing Wi-Fi, AV equipment, and dedicated meeting rooms. Mid-range to upscale venues are well-suited for professional training events.

Getting there

No direct flights from Manila (MNL) to Kampala; travel requires at least one connection via major hubs such as Dubai on Emirates, Doha on Qatar Airways, or Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines. The total journey to Entebbe International Airport (EBB) typically ranges from 20 to 24 hours.

Visa

Philippines passport holders need a Uganda eVisa for travel to Kampala; Uganda’s immigration site lists visa-free entry only for specific countries and does not include the Philippines. The government’s visa portal indicates an eVisa is available for ordinary travelers, with a typical stay of up to 30 days for tourism/business purposes.

Safety

Avoid carrying valuables openly and do not walk alone at night; use registered ride-hailing apps or hotel-arranged transport for evening travel. Stay alert in crowded areas and markets, and avoid large public gatherings or demonstrations.
