The 'PECB Certified Linux Foundations' exam is a 3-hour, closed-book examination covering five competency domains: User and access control mechanisms, Linux command-line and file system operations, Secure remote administration and SSH mechanisms, System maintenance, package management, and task scheduling, and Security monitoring and log analysis. A passing score is required to be eligible for certification.

Upon successfully passing the exam, you can apply for the 'PECB Certified Linux Foundations' credential. This certification demonstrates your ability to understand and apply fundamental Linux concepts, navigate and manage Linux-based systems, and recognize essential security and operational best practices. There are no professional experience or project experience requirements for this credential, only the successful completion of the exam and signing the PECB Code of Ethics. The certification is valid indefinitely, but continuous professional development (CPD) is encouraged to maintain up-to-date skills. The training course fee includes one exam attempt and one free retake within a 12-month period from the course completion date.
