PECB Certified Course

ISO 22000 Foundation Training

Food safety incidents cost organizations millions in recalls, regulatory penalties, and damaged reputations—yet many professionals lack formal training in systematic food safety management. Can you confidently explain to auditors how your prerequisite programs (PRPs) integrate with HACCP-based control measures under ISO 22000? This internationally recognized standard provides the framework for building robust food safety management systems (FSMS) that protect consumers while meeting regulatory requirements across global supply chains. Modern food safety demands professionals who can navigate complex hazard analysis requirements, implement risk-based thinking, and leverage digital traceability systems.

The PECB ISO 22000 Foundation certification bridges the gap between basic food safety knowledge and proven competence in FSMS implementation. Are you ready to demonstrate your ability to contribute meaningfully to food safety initiatives that protect public health and brand value? This course equips quality managers, FSMS team members, food safety coordinators, and compliance professionals with practical skills to apply ISO 22000 requirements in real-world contexts. You'll gain the foundation to interpret standard requirements, support FSMS implementation projects, and earn a globally recognized PECB credential that validates your food safety expertise.

ISO 22000 Foundation Overview

Organizations across the food chain—from farms to retailers—need professionals who can demonstrate competence in implementing and maintaining food safety management systems that meet ISO 22000 requirements. You need capabilities beyond basic HACCP knowledge: understanding management system integration, applying risk-based thinking to food safety hazards, implementing operational prerequisite programs (OPRPs), establishing traceability systems, and conducting performance evaluations that drive continual improvement.

This certification-focused course transforms ISO 22000 standard knowledge into practical implementation skills. You'll develop capabilities to map organizational context to FSMS requirements, establish documented food safety policies and objectives, implement prerequisite programs that control the production environment, design hazard control plans using HACCP principles, create traceability systems for ingredient and product tracking, conduct internal FSMS reviews, manage nonconformities and corrective actions, and prepare management review inputs. The course provides conceptual grounding in Clauses 4-10 while emphasizing how each requirement translates to operational food safety controls.

Food safety professionals face mounting pressures: evolving regulations, global supply chain complexity, emerging pathogens, and consumer transparency demands. This course acknowledges these realities while equipping you with ISO 22000 tools to build resilient systems that prevent contamination, enable rapid response, and demonstrate due diligence to stakeholders.
